Quick answers about PLAB 2 OSCE prep, AI scoring, billing and your data.

Educational tool only. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by the General Medical Council (GMC). AI feedback is a study aid, not a GMC PLAB 2 examination decision.

PLAB 2 is the GMC's clinical exam for International Medical Graduates (IMGs). 16 stations x 8 minutes each, scored against the IPS / DG / CM rubric. UKMLA-CPSA is the new clinical assessment that will replace it.

Our trainer is a 15-station AI voice simulator: you speak to a virtual patient, an AI examiner returns structured feedback within seconds. It is independent practice, not the actual exam.

Pick a station, allow microphone access, and start the 8-minute timer. Speak to the AI patient; the system transcribes you with Whisper, replies with text-to-speech, and an examiner LLM scores the rubric.

  • Audio is auto-deleted after 30 days unless you delete it sooner.
  • Transcripts are kept on your account for as long as you need them.

We score on three axes that mirror the GMC PLAB 2 grid - Interpersonal Skills (IPS), Data Gathering (DG), Clinical Management (CM) - with a 1-5 score and a written rationale for each.

It is not the GMC's scoring. The grid is public, our weights are calibrated against published exemplar scripts, but only a real GMC examiner can produce a real result. Use this to drill technique, not to predict pass/fail.

You agreed at signup that this product is independent of the GMC. Practically:

  • We are not authorised by the GMC and we do not have access to the real PLAB 2 question bank.
  • Our feedback is a study aid. A high score here is not a passing grade and a low score is not a fail.
  • For your safety we always pair feedback with a "see a human mentor" reminder, especially before high-stakes attempts.

Set the date during the onboarding wizard, or any time later from Account → Exam date. We use it for two things only:

  • 1-week and 3-day reminder emails (always-on; not part of the unsubscribe link because candidates need them).
  • A countdown badge on the dashboard.

Postponed your exam? Update the date and the next reminder window will recalculate; old reminder stamps don't fire twice.

Click the unsubscribe link in any product email - we honour the click immediately for the categories you control: weekly digest, inactivity nudges, product updates.

Exam reminders are intentionally not in the unsubscribe link. Candidates have told us they cannot afford to silently lose the "your exam is in 3 days" mail, so we treat it as transactional. You can still disable it explicitly via Account → Email preferences.

Email hi@plab2osce.ai with the request id from the bottom of any error screen - we log every request id so we can pull the exact context.

Common fixes: enable microphone for the page (browser address bar), use Chrome / Safari (Edge works, Firefox occasionally drops audio), and disable any background noise suppressor.
